Welcome to the ROXI-CATH clinical study!

For adults who have to undergo insertion of a venous catheter

Are you scheduled for insertion of a venous catheter?

This website provides information about a clinical study, ROXI-CATH, for adults who have to undergo placement of a venous catheter. Patients with a venous catheter have a risk of developing venous thromboembolism (VTE). ROXI-CATH aims to test two investigational study treatments [(REGN9933 and REGN7508)] that were designed to prevent VTE. The study treatments are called investigational because they are not approved for use outside of clinical trials.

Clinical studies are essential to investigating potential treatments and are not possible without the people who take part. Everyone involved in this clinical study plays an important role in increasing our understanding of VTE, which may help others in the future with this condition.

You may play a key role in helping to develop therapies that are being studied to help advance our medical knowledge of VTE. Every treatment that exists today is available because of study participants who actively took part in research.
